closet

So it goes something like this. It was a hot HOT hot mess. I threw stuff in there for months and there was no rhyme or reason. I hated it. I knew there was stuff in there I didn’t wear and needed to get rid of. I tackled it finally. I got some new clothes for Christmas so I had the motivation. So first I pulled everything off of the shelves because that bugged me the most and then worked my way to the other areas.

okay let us take a moment to dream. I wonder what it is like to have a big walk in closet with custom shelving and organized clothes. Like those container store and ikea ones. ahhhhhhhh a girl can dream. Oh and with that I would like a house cleaner as well. and a pool. okay end of dream.

So I really thought about what I wanted to keep and what I needed to get rid of. I think I did good on getting rid of stuff. I had a huge pile of stuff to donate. I also made a pile of things I wanted to sew into something else. I have actually already made my oldest a tshirt dress with one old shirt. It is so cute. I plan on making them several more. I find they wear those so much because they are comfortable and they love when I make them things. So some recycling will be going on and I will post them soon. The girls will love that… they are always up for smiling for the camera to show off some mama made clothes.

So what do you think?
