I am getting ready do some fund raising for the Civil Air Patrol in our area. Most of our kids come from financially challenged homes, so it can make it harder for them to participate. I am trying to put together quilts to raise money for our local group. This would be a good starting point for the quilts that I will be making. If you have ever heard of people who fly over areas to find lost people, that is just one of the functions of the Civil Air Patrol. The training and opportunities the Civil Air Patrol offers our children are truly wonderful. I can’t wait to get started on the quilts that I will be making.
