  1. You asked for comments on your last episode so here I go! I enjoy listening to both the A and B side of your podcast. I listen when I excercise, which makes my time on the treadmill go extra fast. I am a thirty year quilter, which makes me a member of the “older quilter” generation rather than the Modern sew generation I guess. But I work at a quilt shop and teach most of the classes there, so I have made just about every type of quilt and bag, etc possible. I really enjoy seeing younger women come in to the shop, and often they will bring a picture of something they saw on Pinterest and say”I want to make this” and I enjoy mentoring them through the process. I was one of them, once, in fact, I have fond memories of waddling (very pregnant with my first child) into the first “real” quilt shop I ever found in Canton,Ohio, and the people there were so welcoming and helped me so much.working with fabric to sew all types of things and enjoying making beautiful things crosses all generations. I also enjoy watching Project Runway, and although all the “drama” sometimes makes me tired, I am fascinated with the talent and imagination of those young designers. I enjoy your interviews with up and coming fabric and pattern designers, and it helps me know what younger customers might be looking for in our store. And now, it’s the Labor Day Holiday, and I am off to my sewing room, as I hope you got to do today!
