Erin Dollar is my guest on the podcast today. Erin is the owner and creative mind behind the popular handmade home goods brand, Cotton and Flax. Erin creates small batch textiles using natural materials in her sunny studio in Los Angeles, California. We chat about running a small business, how she continues to grow her business and collaborations including her new fabric line, Arroyo, with Robert Kaufman, and so much more. I learned so much in this chat with Erin. She is full of so much business knowledge and I loved getting to ask her questions about how she is finding success online. When I started sewing on the regular nine years ago I remember finding Elizabeth Hartman’s blog, Oh Fransson. She always had super colorful projects that were our of this world cool. She is still the same oh so cool pattern designer but has expanded to fabric design, books, craftsy class, and I can’t wait to see what else she has up her sleeve. Elizabeth knows how to make patterns with cool creatures and doesn’t shy away from color. We chatted about her journey, her patters, fabric lines, and so much more. She has always been so kind and helpful to me in my own sewing journey. I think you are going to love this chat as much as I did.
